Hello, I’m Tim. I will be the one answering your phone call when you contact us through this site, so I thought you might like to know a bit about who you'll be talking to.
A Bit About Me
I come from a traditional Australian family with strong values of hard work and fairness. Over the years, I’ve had several different careers, retired three times, and then found new paths each time. I've worked as a lumberjack, truck driver, police officer specializing in domestic violence, web developer, and now, I own a moving business.
My Favorite Role
Of all my roles, being a dad, stepdad, and foster dad has been the most rewarding. I’ve also become a grandpa and even a great-grandpa, which is such an honour!
How I Became a Removalist
About 15 years ago, I built a website for a client who owned a moving business. Five years later, he retired, sold his trucks, and left me with the website, which was still generating inquiries. Since I had a few friends in the removalist business, I passed the work to them while traveling extensively in Europe, the USA, and Asia. Eventually, my wife and I decided to settle down.
The New Chapter
If you’ve never driven a truck, you might not know the joy it brings. There’s something powerful about it. I always wanted to own a John Deere tractor, but when I got the chance to own a truck instead, I seized it! Now, I have several trucks and oversee the office while a competent crew handles the physical work.
As you can see from my photo, I’m nearing Santa Claus's age, so physical work isn't as feasible for me as it once was. However, I’ve discovered that I’m a great organizer, excellent at communicating with clients, and skilled at calmly resolving unexpected issues.
